  • Helen Marion

    Co-Founder and Director

    Cambridge graduate and education fanatic, Helen began her career in 2007 teaching Mathematics at Hampton School. She has been teaching Economics at KCS Wimbledon since 2018 with a focus on Mathematics for Oxbridge Economics. Helen will work full time with WT from September 2024.

    Katie Jones

    Co-Founder and Director

    Since graduating from Magdalene College, Cambridge in 2015, Katie has worked continuously in education teaching English and designing the curriculum for the National Citizen Service programmes. Katie oversees operations at Wimbledon Tutors having been deputy head of English at a school in Battersea.

    Helen

    Mathematics

    Helen graduated from Cambridge University in 2006 with a Masters in Engineering. An experienced teacher of IGCSE, Level 2 Further Maths and A Level Maths, Helen has taught at RGS Guildford, Trinity School and held the position of Head of Mathematics at Cobham Free School.

    Hannah

    Biology and Chemistry

    Hannah graduated with first-class honours in Physiological Sciences from Oxford University in 2005 and went on to teach Biology and Chemistry at Hampton School. Hannah has experience tutoring students with a range of ability, at all ages, including KS3, GCSE and A-Level. She is an experienced teacher and asset to our WT team.

    Sara

    English

    Sara graduated from Cambridge University in 2005 and has since enjoyed a successful career in education, working as an examiner, curriculum writer, teacher and private tutor. Having previously taught at Highgate, she is currently teaching at another top independent school in North West London.

    Chemistry

    Tom graduated with first-class honours in Chemistry from Oxford University before teaching IGCSE and A-level Chemistry at King’s College School Wimbledon. Now a science technology analyst in the City, he offers a range of experience, tutoring Chemistry, Physics and Maths.

    Win

    Economics

    Win is an inspirational teacher of Economics who has taught at some of the top schools in Europe, including King’s College School, Wimbledon and Runnymede College, Madrid. His career has seen him holding several management positions including Head of Economics. Win has vast experience in online and in-person private tutoring.

    Freddie

    Economics

    Freddie graduated from the University of Exeter in 2015 with first-class honours in Economics and Finance, before working in the City for a Lloyds of London syndicate. A former Chartered Accountant, Freddie has taught A-Level and IB Economics at King’s College School, Wimbledon. Freddie now teaches at Radley College and has vast experience in private tutoring both online and in-person.

    Jody

    Geography

    Jody has enjoyed teaching Geography for fourteen years, the last ten of which were at King’s College School, Wimbledon where she held an Assistant Head position as Head of Sixth Form. Jody is an outstanding tutor with a wealth of experience teaching all ages from KS3 to A Level and IB, and in supporting students in their University applications.

    Henry

    Economics

    Henry graduated from the University of Bristol with first-class honours in Economics and Management. He began his career teaching Economics at The King’s School Cantebury before joining KCS, Wimbledon. Here he became the youngest teacher at the school to hold a Senior Management position, as Assistant Head. Henry now enjoys online and in-person tutoring alongside his management role in industry.

    Trausti

    Mathematics

    Currently teaching at Westminster School, Trausti has enjoyed a distinguished career in education. He held the position of Head of Mathematics at several prep schools before joining Westminster and has successfully prepared students for 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations to many of the most selective senior schools in the UK.

    Jacki

    Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

    With more than twenty-five years of teaching at top independent schools, Jacki is an experienced teacher and tutor of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Among her numerous management roles she has enjoyed being Head of Science at Hampton School and Academic Deputy Head at St Catherine’s Bramley. In recent years, along side private tutoring, Jacki has worked as an examiner for Pearson Edexcel.

    Freddie

    Psychology and Biology

    Freddie graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences, having achieved a Scholarship for First-Class Honours in Parts IA/B. Currently teaching Psychology and Biology at Guildford High, Freddie is an exceptional tutor, with experience supporting students of every age and ability, from KS3 Biology to A Level Psychology and Oxbridge applicants.

    Antonia

    Geography

    Antonia is currently teaching at one of the top independent girls’ schools in the UK. During her six years there she has also gained an MSc in Teaching and Learning from Oxford University and enjoyed time as Acting Head of Geography. Antonia has experience teaching a wide range of ages and abilities, having previously worked as a supply teacher at many top independent schools, including Wimbledon High, Dulwich College, and Kingston Grammar. Alongside teaching, Antonia is an experienced GCSE examiner.

    English

    Jack graduated from Durham University with BA (hons) in English in 2018. After obtaining his PGCE, he went on to achieve an MSc in English Education from Oxford University. Having taught at Harrow School and KCS Wimbledon, Jack is now tutoring mainly online with WT following his move to The Scots College, Sydney.

  • Olivia

    English

    Currently teaching at Surbiton High, Nottingham University graduate Olivia has five years of experience as an English teacher. She has taught in both the state and private sector, and her personalised tutoring approach has contributed to outstanding results at A level and GCSE. As an A level Examiner for Pearson's Edexcel English, Olivia remains deeply involved with curriculum standards.

    Cameron

    English

    Currently teaching at King’s College School Wimbledon, Durham University graduate Cameron is a fantastic teacher and tutor of English. He has experience tutoring students at all ages, including 7+, 11+, KS3, GCSE, IB and A-Level and has also worked as an A Level examiner. Committed to continued professional development, Cameron is currently studying for a Masters degree in English Literature at UCL.

    Georgina

    Geography and Geology

    Georgina has been teaching at King’s College School, Wimbledon for the past three years. She is a First Class graduate from Durham University and is now in her second year with Wimbledon Tutors. Georgina offers tailored tuition in both Geography and Geology, combining strong subject knowledge with a supportive approach to help students build confidence and achieve excellent academic outcomes.

    Marcus

    Biology and Chemistry

    Marcus is an experienced science educator with over 15 years of teaching in the UK across Key Stages 3-5 and A Level  Biology and Chemistry. He enjoyed the role of KS3 curriculum lead at Wimbledon High and through various supply teaching jobs in the UK and USA has experience in diverse educational environments and backgrounds. Passionate about integrating scientific learning with practical applications and fostering a love of STEM in students, Marcus is an asset to our WT team.

    Chris

    Physical Education

    Chris is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Bath alongside tutoring GCSE and A level PE with Wimbledon Tutors. Chris is an expert in his field, having taught at Tiffin School, worked with premiership rugby and football teams, and has his work published in an academic journal.

    Adam

    Biology

    Adam is a fantastic teacher of Biology who has taught at many top schools in the UK, including KCS Wimbledon, Epsom College and, currently, Guildford High. His impressive teaching career has seen him hold several management positions including Head of Biology and Head of A level. Adam is an experienced tutor of GCSE, A Level and IB Biology both in-person and online.

    Lorinda

    Biology, Chemistry and Physics

    Oxford graduate Lorinda has enjoyed a remarkable career in education. Among her various management roles, she held the position of Head of Biology at St Catherine’s Bramley. Lorinda is an outstanding and dedicated tutor of 11+, 13+, GCSE Sciences, A Level Biology and applications to Oxbridge.
